Currently, 77% of individuals feel the mental and physical effects of stress daily. 95% of doctor visits are due to stress in the United States, and many individuals become chronically ill due to stress.
By attending our summit/retreat on Mind/ Body Medicine, you can begin to help individuals who have acute, severe, and chronic stress. As a fitness professional, your goal is to set appropriate goals, develop customized programs, and work with the medical community to help your clients decrease risk factors for developing obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses.
When working with clients, you must understand the mind/body connection physically and biologically before prescribing exercise and other stress management modalities. By connecting the dots, you can develop programs for the specific needs of each client.
